On February 20th, 2013 (UTC -8:00), Bangladesh signed a US $2.8 billion loan to deal with terrible traffic in Bangladesh capital. With Japan government’s help, the Japanese development agency for construction will help Bangladesh to construct a metro rail way system that may help solving 15 million people’s traffic problem in 2021. Chief Takao Toda from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) said, “Adding that his agency will finance 85 percent of the cost at an interest rate of 0.01 percent.” This 20.1 km metro rail way construction will start in two years.

The issues regard on the comfort women during the WWII has always been a painful headache to the Japanese government. On February 20th, 2013 (UTC -8:00), two US democratic lawmakers warned the Japanese government not to address any changes on the apology over sexual enslavement during WWII. These two lawmakers believe that if the Japanese government under the Prime Minister Abe Shinzo tries to revise the apology that was made in 1993 “would have grave implications for the US-Japanese relationship and could ignite unnecessary tension and provocation with neighboring countries.” As a result, if the Japanese government revised the apology regardless, then the relations between Japan and its neighboring countries especially S.Korea could gone worst.

This week, the Taiwanese government has decides to withdraw troops around 120 soldiers from the two small islets around southeast China’s Xiamen City. The reason for this is to make these two former battlegrounds into a special tourist site that will provide stronger trade links and benefits the local economy.
